This may be the best standup desk I’ve ever found. True, the view can be a bit distracting, but I use it as motivation. When I finish my writing and editing for the day, I can go explore.
I’m working on a new novel in final stages of outlining before beginning the first draft.. This is an historical fiction novel, tentatively entitled ‘Nuf Sed: A novel of desert Steve. I’m also editing another historical novel for an author, as well as ghostwriting a nonfiction book. Busy, but this is what I love.
When I’m traveling, I use a MacBook Air and Apple iPad Pro for writing. I use Ulysses for all my editing and writing, Aeon Timeline for organizing chronological and non-chronological scenes for fiction; I use Cultured Code’s Things app for project and task management. I track my time with Plutio. I find Apple Notes and Apple Calendar as needed. All of these apps between all my devices and my iPhone.
It’s a wonderful system that keeps me enjoying my work, it’s efficient, and it’s available no matter where I am and what I’m doing. All the apps are also fun to use.
As always, I love hearing from my readers and followers. If you have questions about any of my writings, or how I work, for my travels, feel free to ask.
