My third volume of short stories is about ready for publication. While I’m working on novels, which is what I love, I take little breaks to write short stories. Most of them deal blatantly with the human condition: fear, chaos, loss, hope, grace, and sometimes redemption. The publisher just sent me the cover mock up from the designer.
Often these issues that my characters face are of their own doing, but sometimes it’s just the cruelty of the world. I write in various genres: literary/contemporary, fantasy, science fiction, and historical fiction.
This collection contains the following stories:
- “Fishhooks”
- ”You Made Your Bed…”
- ”Train Wreck”
- ”Motivation Null”
- ”Non fui, fui, non sum, non curo”
- ”Louison”
- ”Battle-Weary”
