EDITING

Markus has been a professional editor since 1998: novels, short stories, nonfiction (general nonfiction and academic works). Pricing varies depending on the project. Below are maximum prices.

  • Proofreading & Copyediting (.03/word USD). Editing for errors in spelling, punctuation, grammar, syntax, sentence & paragraph structure, clarity, redundancies, dialog attributions, overuse of the passive voice, readability, etc.
  • Developmental editing (.10/word USD). Analysis of plot, character, chapter/scene structure, arcs, etc.yle guide.

GHOSTWRITING

  • Markus has been ghostwriting nonfiction works since 2016: biographies, self-help, business, spirituality and biblical studies, legal studies.
  • The price depends upon the initial offering (outline, annotated outline, rough draft, etc.), deadline, and, of course, the length of. the manuscript.
  • Markus provides a clean and edited final manuscript with weekly or bi-monthly status updates, detailed invoicing, and work completed.
